Students will explore their own ideas related themes and ideas within artistic movements through sketching, refining, giving and receiving feedback, and creating their final piece. They will explore the mediums of drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpture.
What to expect in each session:
Each unit (about 3 sessions) will explore an art movement. Students will begin by exploring works that fit within the unit’s topic, learning to analyze works visually using the elements of art and principles of design. During production students will practice sketching, giving/receiving feedback, and then completing their final piece.
