This class is designed for kids and their grown-ups, but let’s be honest, everyone wants to make these tiny pumpkins out of clay! Don’t have a kid? No worries, you’re welcome too!
In this class you’ll learn…
How to make a little pumpkin out of natural clay
About the stages of clay and what happens in the magical oven (called the kiln)
What underglaze is and what in the world “sgraffito” means
This is a clay workshop! So here’s how it works:
You make your fun pumpkin!
You leave it here, it dries for 5-6 days, Jill fires it in the kiln.
One week later, it’ll be ready for pick up!
When you come to pick it up you can choose to glaze it for $10 (Jill will fire it one more time) OR you can just take it home as is. Jill can tell you some tips on adding color at home if you’d like!
